The Rt. Hon. Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin on Wednesday inaugurated the Ghana Chapter of the International Catholic Legislators Network (ICLN).
In his address, the Speaker noted that the Ghanaian Chapter of the ICLN will stand as a symbol of unity and a bastion of moral integrity.
The inauguration saw in attendance some members of the Catholic Bishops Conference, Rev Fathers and Sisters as well as the Lay Faithful.
The International Catholic Legislators Network (ICLN) exists to educate, empower and connect in fellowship a new generation of courageous Christian leaders of unwavering professionalism, serving in or for public office whilst operating and cooperating effectively in a multi-faceted and crisis-ridden world.
The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hon. Joseph Osei Owusu was also appointed as the President of the ICLN Ghana Chapter.
