Newly declared Speaker of 9th Parliament of the fourth republic Alban Kingsford Bagbin has assured to infuse his years of experience in the House to ensure they deliver on their mandate.
Addressing members of Parliament after his swearing in, the Speaker also expressed gratitude to the President-elect John Dramani Mahama for the confidence and trust he has in him and his team.
Mr. Alban Bagbin charged Ghanaians to be be concerned with the activities of the House so as to ensure members are put on their toes in order to deliver on their mandate.
He, was, grateful to the MPs for supporting his candidature and assured to enhance coordination between both the majority, minority and the independents.
President-elect John Mahama had earlier met the leadership of the majority in parliament and executives of the National Democratic Congress and proposed for the consideration of the incumbent Speaker to be re-elected.
