The government has revealed work is ongoing on the construction of an Olympic Size stadium at Borteyman while the University of Ghana stadium is also being refurbished, Sports minister, Mustapha Ussif has stated.
He has also stated that upgraded Game Villages are all being built for the All African Games expected to come off in 2023.
The minister, speaking at a Press Briefing by the Information Ministry on Sunday stated that many interventions and projects being executed by the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party since 2016.
Mr. Mustapha Ussif in his statement said refurbishment works are ongoing at the Accra, Baba Yara, Cape Coast, and Sekondi Stadia as well.
“30 astroturfs are also under construction across the country” the minister added.
