Ghana international Kamal Sowah has completed a move to Belgian club, Standard Liege.
Sowah joins the club on loan from fellow Belgian outfit Club Brugge in search of playing time.
The 23-year-old is expected to spend the 2023/24 football season with Standard Liege and is expected to play key role for his new outfit.
After his unveiling, the Sporting Director expressed the arrival of the Ghana international will help strengthen the team as they seek to make impact this campaign.
“Kamal will strengthen our offensive sector and sharpen competition within our group. His experience in the Belgian competition, his technical and physical qualities, his speed and his depth will be additional assets for our team.” he said.
Sowah had struggled for playing in recent times, forcing his decision to leave for loan. The winger has lost his place in the Black Stars due to his dip in form. Sowah was part of the Black Stars that represented Ghana at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
