The State Transport Corporation (STC) will on Friday, 1st July, 2022 unveil 50 new buses to add up to already existing ones as it plans of improving activities.
The buses, which was procured by a private individual is a partnership program with the state institution as far as the transport business is concerned.
The CEO of STC, Nana Akomea disclosed this on Good Morning show on Metro TV on Friday morning.
According to him, the delivery of the 50 new buses will go a long way to improve the activities of STC as more buses are needed to reach all the corners of the country.
When asked about whether private individuals can buy buses to go into partnership with STC by the host, Nana Akomea confirmed so by stressing it is based on commission basis amonst the two.
“Oh yes, private individuals can buy buses for STC to run but my outfit takes full responsibility of it and we share the proceeds based on commission.
