Residents of Mim in the Asunafo North Municipality of the Ahafo Region are in a state of shock after waking up Wednesday to see an uncovered stolen coffin at a cemetery in the community.
Kwaku Kwakye, a carpenter who made the coffin explained to newsmen that, he had a call that a coffin had been found at the New Apostolic Church cemetery, therefore, rushed to the scene and truly found his stolen coffin at the cemetery.
According to him, the suspect broke into his shop and stole the coffin leaving the cover damaged. He said he has since been searching for the suspect to apprehend him for the police.
Some residents who visited the scene expressed shock deepening fears of the residents over the increasing involvement of the youth in money rituals (Sakawa).
