The NPP’s regional chairman in Ashanti, Bernard Antwi Bosiako, better known by his stage name “Wontumi,” has been called a “coward” by Ken Ohene Agyapong, a flagbearer candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), who has challenged him to face him in person rather than pursue legal action.
The dispute started when Mr. Agyapong was questioned live on Starr Chat about recent rumors that Wontumi planned to file a police case against him.
Wontumi’s actions were in reaction, publicly questioned by Mr. Agyapong, who implied that calling the police was cowardly conduct.
“Why will Wontumi report me to the police if I dare him? That’s cowardice,” Agyapong declared during the interview. “He should face me face to face because that’s what bold men do.”
