The CEO of Akuda foundation Ms. Felicia Aku Dayie, has advised the youth especially the young girls to use the media positively to advance their education and promote their craft and stop exposing their bodies and twerking which many believe they can make enough money and gain popularity out of such abnormality.
She stated this in an interview when she donated educational items including reading books to the students of St. Francis Xavier senior high school at Kotobabi in Greater Accra with an intention to reinstate that habit of reading back to our educational space and help them assimilate that in their culture.
She further added that, the rate at which these young girls are behaving especially on “Tik Tok” is beyond the horizon of understanding.
She added that it is time we all rise to the majestic height to bring back that culture of discipline which is gradually declining and has affected our moral and social atmosphere in the country.
She stressed that the posture of our educational system has contributed immensely to such abnormality and she is advising parents, stakeholders of our educational system and GES to collectively rally behind her to reinstate such culture of reading and discipline back to our educational space.
