Burgeoning Ghanaian artiste, Andy Osei Sarfo famed as Kweku Flick has frowned at internet fraudsters commonly known in the local parlance as ‘Sakawa’ to stop using his ‘money’ song as a morale booster as they engage in their illegal actions.
According to the Kumasi-based singer, people should listen to the lyrics of the song very carefully as he believes the song has many positives tailored for the youths in the country.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on the Kastle FM, the ‘money’ hitmaker made this assertion.
“You know something, I would say that the money song I did though we do crave for more money but whilst enjoying the banger do also carefully listen to the pieces of advice in the song as well,” he said
“I said a lot of things in the song that when you get the money you don’t need to use it aimlessly. You have to use the money to cater for your family and do well to develop the habit of saving,” he added on the show
He continued “Even if you’d spend your money lavishly there is the need to save in other not to find yourself fixed up in a quagmire of hardships shortly.”
“So we want money but it’s not as if I’m encouraging the youth to venture into cyber fraud, Sakawa, or unscrupulous means to make that money I’m talking about,” he advised.
“So it’s a really good message filled with positivity that I’m giving out to the teeming youths out there in every corner of Ghana who enjoys my song,” he concluded.
