Daniel Obeng Aqucah, 1st Vice chairman of the NPP in Abuakwa North and a member of the manifesto Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has articulated during an interview on the BRYTFM Adekyee mu new show, hosted by Kwamina Sam Biney that students must have serene environment to be able to perform better in their educational journey
According to the educationist, his belief in the power of education to overcome barriers is reflected in his journey as a person and that, the policies of the NPP has been the best.
Ubuntu, as affectionately called shared that he has exclusively attended public educational institutions throughout his life, including Salvation Primary, Effiduase Presby, OPASS, and KNUST, among others.
He emphasized that every individual, regardless of their literacy level, deserves the opportunity to access education and pave the way for a brighter future.
He shared his experiences and highlighted the significance of education in breaking down obstacles and creating opportunities for individuals.
Mr. Acquah discussed the implementation of free senior high school education in Ghana, noting the positive impact it has had on enrollment figures in the various schools.
He outlined five key pillars for elementary and primary education, emphasizing the practical application of teaching methods to ensure a strong foundation for students, pledging the Bawumia-led government will ensure quality education is attained
He again touched on the importance of enhancing education at the kindergarten level and providing essential resources for learning and stressed the need to eradicate all barriers to education to ensure that Ghanaian children can compete globally.
“Bawumia envisioned a child-centered learning environment at the primary level, focusing on instilling moral values and fostering a growth mindset in students” he added.
He highlighted the achievements of individuals of African descent and emphasized the potential for all students to succeed with the right support and guidance.
