Mr Sakyi Danso, who represent the President John Dramani Mahama, delivered an important message to the students gathered when Knutsford University held their 15th Graduation.
He emphasized the essential need for students to actively implement and practice the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the classroom, urging them to transition from theoretical learning to practical application in their everyday lives.
In a complementary message, Pro Chancellor Mr. John Kwaamena Essel reinforced the notion that it is imperative for Ghanaians to take pride in their own educational and developmental initiatives.
He called for unity among the citizens of Ghana, urging them to work collaboratively as a nation. Moreover, Mr. Essel advocated for a pan-African vision that would facilitate easier access to education across the continent, which would ultimately reduce the necessity for students to travel abroad in order to pursue their academic ambitions.
Additionally, Mr. Essel highlighted the significance of supporting local enterprises, stressing that by choosing to patronize and engage with Ghanaian markets, the nation can foster greater economic independence and stability.
This shift, he argued, would not only create job opportunities for the populace but also enhance the overall resilience of the country’s economy, ensuring that it thrives amid the challenges posed by globalization and competition from foreign markets.
