As fighting continues in Sudan’s Darfur reguon, the UN World Food Programme (WFP) has warned of food shortages for refugees.
This comes as the UN also revealed that food aid for 1.4 million people in Chad faces a “looming halt” due to a shortage of funds, despite an influx of refugees from Darfur.
In December, millions of displaced people and refugees in Nigeria, the Central African Republic, and Cameroon will be affected as a result of the financing crisis, according to the UN.
