A 65-year-old man, Daniel Kwasi Offei is in the custody of Suhum Police for killing his brother In-law at Okorase a suburb of Suhum in the Eastern Region.
The suspect allegedly hit the head of the deceased, Kwame Asare,37, after a scuffle ensued between the deceased and 18-year old daughter of the suspect who is a nursing mother.
The Kwame Asare dropped unconscious on the ground but pronounced dead on arrival at Suhum Government Hospital.
“My younger sister brought some bread to me but she started insulting me.so I asked her, Maadwo what have I done to deserve this insult. So I picked something to beat her. she even dropped her baby someone and continued to insult so my Uncle -Kwame Asare also lashed her .so she rushed home to inform her father but and her father angrily stormed this place with a stick to hit the head of Kwame Asare killing him. Some youth in the Community quickly organized and arrested the suspect and handed him over to the police.
Suhum Police has meanwhile commenced investigations into the incident.
