Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Adjah Tetteh, has tipped the Phobians to beat Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The Phobians will play host to the Porcupine Warriors in match day 19 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium, a game that will also serve as President’s Cup due to the tight schedules of the league.
Having suffered back-to-back defeats against Aduana Stars and Great Olympics, the rainbow boys will be looking forward to bouncing to winning ways against their perennial rivals at home.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Adjah Tetteh anticipated a tough test for both teams but was clear Hearts of Oak will carry the day.
“Hearts of Oak and Kotoko is a game on its own and it only about the players who are ready and have the zeal to play. It is not going to be easy for both teams but I will choose Hearts of Oak to carry the day because they are known for moment like this”
“I played for Hearts before and knows how they approach such games, so I believe Hearts will beat Kotoko to carry the day” he said.
Asante Kotoko are second on the league log with 31 points whiles Hearts of Oak sit 6th position with 28 points after 19 matches.
