The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), as the mother of all private sector associations in Ghana, led the National Association of Institutional Suppliers to meet the Hon. Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.
The meeting’s purpose was to engage the Ministry in a possible price increase for suppliers of student items such as school uniforms, and exercise books, among other things.
It is also due to the fact that the cost of producing these items has risen over time.
The approval of the review, according to the Association, will go a long way toward improving the quality of work as the present prices were authorised in 2016.
