Eastern Region-based Division one club, Susubiribi SC, has appointed Emmanuel Akyereko Frimpong as the club’s administrative manager following the dissolution of both the management and technical team.
The Akyem Tafo-based Division One side in a statement on Thursday, June 16, 2022, announced the dissolution of management and the technical team.
“Acting on the authority of the board of directors and shareholders of Susubiribi Sporting Club, I hereby wish to inform the sporting public that the technical team and management of the club have been dissolved with immediate effect” a statement signed by Emmanuel Akyereko reads.
Following the dissolution of the management and technical team, the club’s Board Chairman, Dr. Yaw Adu Amponsah, and George Kwasi Afriyie (Shareholder) in a statement has announced Emmanuel Akyereko Frimpong as the new administrative manager.
“The shareholders of Susubiribi Sporting Club (Dr. Yaw Adu Amponsah and George Kwasi Afriyie (Shareholder) hereby solemnly affirm and declare that aside from the two shareholders, Emmanuel Akyereko Frimpong is the sole authorized signatory for the club” the statement reads.
Susubiribi were keen on securing qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight in the just-ended Division One League campaign but their quest hit a snag after finishing 10th position with 37 points in Zone 3.
