Fraud Preventions Expert and Security Consultant, Richard Kumadoe has emphasised that systems alone will not help to prevent fraudulent activities without the human factor.
The NDC Parliamentary aspirant for Sege constituency was of the view a perfect combination of an effective system and adequately prepared human resources would help address the issue.
He posted:
Systems alone will not entirely help to prevent fraud and fraudulent activities from occurring in any business, irrespective of the size and nature of business modelling techniques.
The human factor is key, and it’s important to help develop capacity, especially for frontline staff in the area of fraud identification and prevention strategies, broadly across board.
A perfect combination of an effective system and an adequately prepared human resources plus an effective staff support will be the best option.
Especially for businesses which operates in higher complex environments, competitiveness is key, and any iota of fraud which could not be detected and identified on time will create huge financial and material loses overnight. Beware!
Fraud is real!
Business profitability and sustenance is key.
