The president and founder of All Nation University Dr. Samuel Donkor, has urged the 2022 matriculants of the university to take advantage of innovative programs roll out in the university to help contribute to national development.
A speech delivered at the 2nd Matriculation ceremony to a total of 535 matriculants with 273 and 262 male and female respectively brought to the bear that All Nations University was purposefully designed to create a platform for Africans in the diaspora and other well-wishers to express their creativity, knowledge, and skill- set to the youth of Ghana and Africa through the institution.
“All Nations University (ANU) has reinvigorated the higher education sector in Ghana with innovative programs of national importance such as Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Oil and Gas Engineering therefore through that ANU became the first university in Sub- Saharan Africa to design and build a CubeSat which was successfully deployed into orbit by National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA”
“All Nations University has built a Virtual Reality Industrial Tour Laboratory, which is the first of its kind in Ghana and West Africa hence ANU will continue to push with innovative programs with national development as its goal, therefore, it entreats all 2022 matriculants to take advantage of these innovative programs to help enhance the development of the country,” he said.
In the quest to continue to push for innovative programs in the university, Dr. Samuel H.B. Donkor said ” accreditation is being sought for a BSc in Emergency Medicine Technology to train qualified paramedics to support the healthcare sector in Ghana, adding that accreditation is also being sought for MSc in Cyber Security to underpin Ghana’s quest for a digital economy with skilled cyber security experts “.
However, matriculants were challenged to overcome weakness and failure by not waiting to study for examinations at the last minute which is the surest way to become a below-average student but rather inculcate the habit of studying daily to become an above-average student.
He, therefore, charged the matriculants to clad themselves as elite students who are in one of the best universities in Ghana and Africa since they have all the resources and goodwill to succeed saying success comes easy only to those who recognize that “No hand is strong enough to stop time”.
