The Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Hon. James Klutse-Avedzi has commended Senior High Schools and District Assemblies in the Northern Region for having only few infractions cited in the 2021 Auditor-General’s Report.

He made these comments in his closing remarks as the Committee brings its one- week continuous public hearing in Tamale.
The Committee considered the Auditor-General’s Report on the Management and Utilisation of District Assemblies Common Fund and Other Statutory Funds for the year ended 31st December 2021 and other reports concerning the Senior High Schools.
The five Regions (5) that appeared before the Committee in Tamale were the Northern, Savannah, North East, Upper East Region and Upper West Regions.
The Committee is expected to start its Zone two public hearing in Sunyani on Monday 4th September 2023.
