Ghana international Tariq Lamptey has suffered a latest injury at Brighton and Hove Albion, sparking concerns about his availability for the Unity Cup tournament.
The Black Stars joins West Africa rivals, Nigeria, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago for the four-nation tournament to be staged in the United Kingdom later this month.
Lamptey missed the sides 3-2 victory over Liverpool on Monday night, having suffered an injury in their previous game against Wolves.
His latest setback further clouds his future at Brighton, with his contract expiring this summer and little indication of renewal talks.
Lamptey is now a major doubt for the upcoming tournament, with Otto Addo set to name his squad this week.
The right-back, who has struggled with persistent injuries, has fallen down the pecking order under Fabian Hürzeler, behind Joel Veltman.
