Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has expressed gratitude after making a return from injury for Brighton in their preseason friendly defeat to Newcastle United.
The pacey right-back who has been out of action since February played his first game for Brighton when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United as they wrap up preparation for the new season.
“Thank God always! Enjoyed being back out there, now time to push on.” He tweeted.
Lamptey is expected to play a huge role for Brighton in the upcoming season. Brighton will feature in the Europa League after securing their first qualification to Europe.
The defender missed the Black Stars games against Angola and Madagascar due to the injury setback.
