Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has said that any political party who gives a facelift to roads during an election year is just to get votes from constituents and has cautioned Ghanaians to be up and doing when it comes to political seasons like this.
According to her, the votes of every eligible individual count and that’s why she believes the government is busily tarring roads after many years of complaining.
Ms Forson made this assertion on Twitter as she asked Ghanaians to be awake when dealing with politicians in the country.
The ‘Side Chic Gang’ actress believes such roads should have been fixed long ago and that politicians shouldn’t have waited to tar roads just two (2) months to the election.
“If your votes didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be tarring roads after many years of your complaining. For the record, it will go back to shit as soon as the elections are over”. She wrote on Twitter.
