According to an aspiring parliamentary candidate hopeful for the ruling NPP in the New Juaben North constituency, every government depends on taxes for the development of their countries, hence the need to oblige the constitutional mandate as citizens.
Speaking on Bryt FM Ebesi sen political show on Thursday, Mr. Twum Yeboah therefore urged Ghanaians to pay taxes for government to provide the jobs, good roads, hospitals, schools blocks, tourist centres and many other development project.
“It is enshrined in the constitution designed by the NDC in 1992 that every citizen must pay taxes on revenue they make so I wonder how the same NDC members are speaking against something that they spearheaded to bring it into force” he stated.
Mr. Philip Twum Yeboah on his political career indicated that he has been helpful to the party activities in the constituency and even beyond over the years and emphasised to do more when elected to represent the people.
