The Nsawam Police in the Eastern Region has revealed that the Taxi driver who died at Oparekrom was found with open eyes at death.
The 29-year-old taxi driver Asamoah Isaac was retrieved dead on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
One Eric Ofei reported at the Nsawam Police Station at 7:00am that they found their brother a taxi driver dead in his parked Taxi Cab at the back of his house at Oparekrom.
Police together with the Complainant and his witnesses visited the scene at Oparekrom and found the deceased Asamoah Isaac in a pair of blue jeans trousers without top lying supine with the eyes open dead on the driver’s seat.
Police inspected the body carefully but no mark of violence was seen to suspect any foul play.
The body was photographed, removed, and conveyed to Nsawam Government Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
According to the acting Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command Sargeant Francis Gomado, an autopsy will be performed to confirm the cause of death.
Meanwhile, family sources say the deceased was asthmatic patient.
