Some residents of Awutu Beraku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region are skeptical about the safety of the intended Covid-19 vaccination exercise in Ghana.
Residents argue that the drug may harm their health in the future therefore have decided not to accept the jabs.
They contend that the only way that can convince them to change their minds is when the administration of vaccines among top public figures are telecast live on Television stations in Ghana for them to watch.
Speaking to Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah, the residents charged authorities to start the whole process from Parliament House, the Seat of Government (Jubilee House), Traditional Authorities among others before it is descended to them at the grassroots.
“They should show it live on TV for every Ghanaians to know that Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo, his ministers, MPs have gone through the process like the ongoing Election Petition at the Supreme Court so we all trust the vaccine else some of us and our families will not take the jabs” a resident corroborated.
