The Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Health, has launched a 5-year strategy for Health Technical Assessment (HTA) and the development of the HTA process guideline for Ghana.
The HTA reference case has been developed in response to the HTA strategy for Ghana which defines a clear strategic area for evidence-based manuals and guidelines to strengthen the conduct of HTA.
The objective is to commission the HTA reference case as a framework for quality assurance for the conduct or adoption of HTAs that inform decisions in health.
It also disseminates the core components of the HTA reference case.
