The tragic death of Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, better known as KODA, surfaced yesterday which indeed hit Ghanaians hard.
Numerous sources state that KODA was fighting a kidney illness that eventually became fatal in 2023.
He had to have a kidney transplant to survive. Together, he and his spouse donated more than $200k toward the cost of the surgery.
The procedure was completed in the latter half of 2023 but began feeling ill in April.
Sadly, he passed away and lost his life after being taken to the hospital.
The 45-year-old left behind a wife and three kids, sending his family, friends, and admirers into deep sadness.
