Until Vice President Dr Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia and the Finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta are sacked, Ghana will continue to face economic crises.
This was commented by Comrade Prince Henry, Communication member of the main opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC in the Eastern region.
Speaking on the just released S&P Global Ratings which lowered the country’s foreign and local currency sovereign ratings to junk from B-/B to CCC+/C with a negative outlook.
He explained the abysmal performance of the Vice President who is the Head of the Economic Management Team and Mr Ken Ofori-Atta have both performed woefully and do not deserve to head the sensitive areas of the country’s economy.
According to Prince Henry, the current state of the economy has exposed the Akufo-Addo-led administration to poor managerial skills and reluctance to seek external ideas due to arrogance.
The NDC Communicator indicated that Ghanaians are currently living under hard conditions as prices of goods have increased drastically over the past years.
