Minister for Works and Housing, Samuel Atta Akyea has revealed that former President John Dramani Mahama administration left ¢31m debt and broken Economy but Akufo-Addo’s administration is fixing it.
Mr. Atta Kyea, who is also Member of Parliament of Akim Abuakwa South constituency who described Mr. John Mahama as “Prodigal son” said the ¢31m debt affected the NPP administration and claimed the NDC embezzled the money.
Speaking at the 2019 National Delegates Conference at the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra, Mr. Atta Kyea said, ” People say we should bring back the Prodigal son, what is he coming to do?to take Ghana back to the pit? Never again, Akufo-Addo has brought us out from the pit”.
The Ghanaian lawyer and politician revealed that his ministry has secured ¢51m loan to continue affordable housing projects started in Former president John Kufuor administration located at Koforidua, Wa and Tamale.
He denied claims that the Akufo-Addo administration has brought hardship to Ghana and charged Ghanaians not to make mistake and return NDC in the 2020 general election.
