The Eastern Regional Research and Election Minister, Mr. Michael Oteng Adu, has assured Ghanaians especially indigenes of the New Juaben South that the ongoing presidential election will be a smooth one.
According to him, if the process extends to the other centres across the country, he believes there would be no problem during this election.
“I believe there would be no problems if the process I see happens across the centres. There would be no phones allowed when going to vote and if this is obeyed, nothing will go wrong,” says Mr. Oteng Adu.
He further urged delegates to obey every rule set to run this election.
“New Juaben South has two centres. So depending on your electoral area, that is centre A and Centre B, you need to follow the process of identifying your name, after that you take your voting paper, vote and leave. This is simple.” Michael Oteng Adu to delegates at New Juaben South.
To have a peaceful election, the party decided to have the election in an open space. This he believes will help have a smooth election when observed across the country.
