Former Arsenal and Ghana international midfielder, Thomas Partey, has been granted conditional bail after appearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old, recently released by Arsenal in June, faces five counts of rape and one of sexual assault, involving three women. The alleged incidents occurred between 2021 and 2022 during his time at the North London club.
Court documents reveal that Partey is accused of raping one woman twice, another three times, and sexually assaulting a third. He has denied all charges.
Appearing in court quietly dressed in a black jumper, Partey was ordered not to contact the alleged victims and must inform police of any address changes or travel plans. The court also noted his potential move to Spanish side Villarreal.
The case is scheduled to continue at the Old Bailey on September 2nd.
