Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed Thomas Partey will not be available when his outfit take on Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier League.
The Gunners will host Tottenham on Sunday in the north London derby as both teams aim to secure the bragging right.
At the pre-match conference, Arteta confirmed Partey’s unavailability for Tottenham showdown.
Giving update on duo, Arteta said, “With Martinelli, we are still assessing him so let see if he can make the game on not. Thomas for sure is out and the rest of the squad are available” he said.
Partey has been sidelined for sometime after sustaining a groin injury just before the recent international break.
The 30-year-old has made three appearances in the Premier League after five games, playing mostly as a right-back for Mikel Arteta’s outfit.
