Financial sector institutions are more likely to be targeted and hit by CyberCrime gangs, and this is due to technology advancement and the enormous capacities attained by the dark world unethical hackers, and pure think-tanks groups, and individual criminals in the cyber space.
The need for mitigation capacity building exercise is a laudable strategy to be embraced, and staff awareness and public education will also lower the risk, and effectively mitigate the threat-risk posed by CyberCrime gangs in Ghana, and in elsewhere.
We are all involved as CyberCrime targets and those with several vulnerabilities can become victims at the least instance. If you see ugly, report it immediately to the appropriate centers.
CyberCrime is Real, and the devastating effects can be enormous, with dreadful memories.
I wish all frontline CyberCrime investigators, well, and pray, they live up to expectations.
