On 26th November 2025, the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, together with his Deputies, Management team, and Board Members, paid a courtesy call on Togbe Afede XIV and the leadership of the Asogli State at his residence in Ho.
The visit formed part of activities for the Bank of Ghana Board’s retreat in the Volta Regional capital.
Togbe Afede XIV warmly welcomed the delegation and assured them of their safety and comfort in Ho, describing the city as “the Oxygen City”—a serene and inspiring choice for their retreat.
He reaffirmed the Asogli State’s commitment to hospitality and pledged his full support throughout their stay.
Following the meeting, Togbe hosted the delegation to a dinner in their honour, further strengthening ties between the traditional leadership and the nation’s central bank. The visit highlighted Ho’s growing reputation as a preferred destination for high-level institutional retreats.
