Member of Parliament for Tolon constituency, Alhaji who doubles as Deputy Majority Chief Whip in Ghana’s parliament, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu presented support to two hundred (200) brilliant but needy students.
“I covered the entire tuition fees for all female and disabled students whilst male students received half of their total tuition fees for the 2022/2023 academic year”, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu said at the event.
According to the lawmaker, such a gesture will afford students the opportunity to become whom they want to be and also help the area with their expertise and knowledge in the future.
Some beneficiaries who spoke to the reporter were grateful to the MP for the gesture and therefore promised to learn hard and make good use of the opportunity.
