The family of the late Obaapanin Comfort Opoku is grappling with a double tragedy at Akyem Tafo in Abuakwa North Municipality in Eastern Region.
As the family prepare for the One Week Observation of Comfort Opoku, who recently passed away, another devastating loss occurs.
Daniel Danquah, affectionately known as Kwaku Danquah and one of Comfort Opoku’s children, has tragically passed away this dawn at the Tafo government hospital after shirt illness.
The family now mourns the loss of both mother and son.
Residents are shocked over the incidents.
The family is likely to bury the two together in a later date which will be scheduled during the one week observation.
