National executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) must avert their minds and attention to the political situation in Amasaman Constituency else, they leave to sacrifice the fortunes of the party in the coming days relative to 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary general elections.
The youth are angry more than ever before as there is a political tension speaking to people within this Constituency.
Everyone believes, there is a well crafted strategy to silence Amasaman from the good stories of the NDC come 2024.
Currently, there are series of meetings going on day after day by different groups of interested individuals who have Amasaman at heart.
The agenda is simple and they all speak one language.
“What crime has Amasaman committed to suffer the fate of not participating in both the Regional and National elections of current executives. Does that mean the constituency is going to remain without having a parliamentary candidate for the 2024 General elections.. …..?” the youth quizzed.
The youth believe, this is the hand work of the Greater Accra NDC Regional Chairman and or Secretary.
The youth are alleging that the two individuals from the regional outfit of the party have taken money from the opposition NPP therefore they are acting in bad fate and intend to cartels the fortunes of NDC in the constituency.
“We don’t want to believe that, what is happening in Amasaman Constituency is a scheme by some Regional Executives to sell the fortunes of the NDC to the NPP”. The youth alleged.
The youth wing of NDC and every single individual within the Constituency who is hit by the current economic hardship in the country, and now hearing of Domestic Debt Exchange program, are singing a war songs. They said the right thing must be done this time around.
Infact, there is fear and panic everywhere visiting the Constituency. People ask questions of you before they engage in political talk with you.
Going forward, the people have resolved and they are therefore issuing ultimatum to the Party’s National leadership.
The message is simple and straight forward. They said, by Wednesday dated 24th January, 2023, if nothing is heard from Regional and National Executives on the way forward, as far as the issues surrounding the Constituency Executives elections is concerned then the whole Ghana will be invited to join the panel of arbitration in solving the matter.
The NDC youth of Amasaman Constituency are therefore, calling upon both the Regional and National leadership of the NDC to be proactive and reach out to the interested parties and those who matter most for PEACE to remain in Amasaman Constituency for “together, we stand tall and divided we fall out completely”.
