Two drivers are feared dead whereas five (5) others were seriously injured after a head-on collision with three vehicles at Gomoa Buduatta Junction on the Kasoa – Winneba – Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
The three vehicles are Toyota fish commercial vehicle with registration number GW 7237-21, Toyota Highlander with number GE 5740-12 loaded with hardware, and unregistered Hyundai Elantra with registration number DV 1551.
According to information, the Toyota Highlander and the unregistered Hyundai Elantra made a wrongful overtaking and collided with the Toyota fish.
Narrating what happened to Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah, some eyewitnesses who rescued them from the cars revealed the driver of the Elantra and the Highlander could be feared dead due to how they were critically injured whiles extra five persons are also seriously injured and have been sent to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the Driver of the Toyota Fish and some survivors in the vehicle said the accident could have been prevented if both cars avoided an overtaking.
