National Youth Leader of Voice of The Lord Evangelical Church, Pastor Kofi Appiah has stated that the two hours duration directive given by the President to run church service amid COVID-19 is enough for them.
During an interview with Pastor Kofi Appiah, he averred that once they are worshippers, they have to heed to the instructions given by the president in order to assist him (President) to curb the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus disease.
According to him, Voice of The Lord Evangelical Church has agreed to all decisions taken by the government to protect the lives of Ghanaians.
“We will adjust some of our church activities not to exceed two hours so we may not disobey the government measures,” he said.
“Two hours for church service is manageable because we were able to cope with the one hour,” he added.
He indicated that the church has provided PPEs including the nose mask, thermometer gun, veronica buckets and among others to all their assemblies to enable them to have a smooth church service.
Pastor Kofi Appiah, however, advises other churches to pray and also to adhere to the protocols set by the government in order to ease the country from the pandemic.
