Two juveniles have been brutalized, stripped naked, and paraded on the streets of Akuapem Adawso in the Eastern region over theft.
The 14-year-olds were seen in a video intercepted by mybrytfmonline.com being paraded completely naked on the street from the Tinkong stretch of the highways to the Adawso market area.
The mob led by one Larbi and Akwei prevented a woman from offering cloth to cover the nakedness of the teenagers.
Mybrytfmonline.com has established that the incident occurred Friday, October 29, 2021, that, the victims were alleged to have stolen Ghc100 and a mobile phone.
They were busted, beaten mercilessly while the stolen items were taken away from them. As if that was not enough, the mob stripped the two juvenile suspects naked and paraded them on the street.
One of the victims defecated on himself as a result of the traumatic shock out of the brutality.
Mybrytfmonline.com also gathered in the community that, one of the juvenile suspects identified as Asare, is a school dropout whose mother is deaf and dumb.
Hence her sister Augustina Danso, who spoke on her behalf says the family is scandalized by the inhumane treatment meted out to her son hence calling for justice to be served.
She said even though the case has been reported to the Adawso police, it has been transferred to Akropong District Police Command but the suspects are still walking freely and rather allegedly bragging that “poor person cannot win a case against rich man”.
She wants justice to be served.
Meanwhile, the case has been reported to the Adawso police who has transferred the case to DOVSSU in Akropong but no action taken yet on the matter.
The suspects who stripped the two teens naked are allegedly bragging that they have bought the police hence the case will end nowhere.
