Residents of Tempane district of the Upper East region are lamenting bitterly about how power outages (Dumsor) is affecting their businesses recently.
In an exclusive interview with Joy Daddy Multimedia news reporter, Halidu Dasmani, residents said for the past four years now there has been electricity challenges in the area.
According to them, power goes off and on day in and day out and as a results of that those who deals in cold store business has their meats and fishes been rotten.
Mr. Sandong Bachee, a TV and Radio mechanic and other business owners also complained to the reporter how power fluctuations affects their business.
“Most of the problems with these appliances is as a result of the power outages” a mechanic revealed.
They are, however, appealing to the Volta River Authority to rectify the situation to ease the burden of business owners.
