At a meeting with stakeholders of Jamiat Alhidayat Islamic Girl’s Senior High School in Wa, Dr. Bin Salih Hafiz, the Upper West Regional minister informed them that Zongo Development Fund has made funds available for the construction of a fence well for the school.
According to the Regional minister indicated it is in fulfillment of a pledge made by the President of the Republic, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo in 2022 when he visited Wa Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV at his palace.
Dr. Bin Salih Hafiz thanked the Chief Executive Officer of Zongo Development Fund, Dr. Arafat Sulemana Abdulai for his efforts at ensuring that funds are set aside for the project.
The Chairperson of the school’s Board of Governors, Hajia Fusata Hamidu, the Headmistress, Mrs. Afusa Salia, Regional Manager, Islamic Education Unit, Alhaji Rashid, and the other stakeholders could not hide their joy and appreciation.
The project will be executed by Azimpex Limited, one of the best construction firms in the region.
The Regional Coordinating Council and the Zongo Development Fund shall ensure that we get value for money.
The Regional minister was accompanied by the Regional Director of the Ghana Education Service. Mr. Abdul Razak Korah, the Northern Zone Coordinator of Zongo Development Fund, Alhaji Mahmoud Osman, the Managing Director of Azimpex Limited, Alhaji White, and some officials from the RCC.
