On Tuesday morning, the Upper West Regional minister, Dr. Bin Salih Hafiz presented 2 motorbikes to each of the 11 District Assemblies of the Upper West Region.
The move is to aid officials monitor and supervise the implementation of Ghana Productive Safety Net Project 2 (GPSNP 2).
The project will help expand and strengthen the social safety net program which will directly benefit over 1.6 million people in Ghana.
The project will help to improve the incomes and productivity of the poor and vulnerable.
The minister, therefore, urged the Municipal and District Chief Executives to ensure that the motorbikes are maintained and used for the purpose for which it is given.
