Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency has told the Upper West Regional minister, Dr. Bin Salih Hafiz of his intention to contest the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries.
The outspoken lawmaker disclosed this when he paid a visit to the minister’s office on Wednesday.
Hon. Kennedy Agyapong indicated that he was in the region to meet Regional and Constituency executives of the New Patriotic Party ahead of the primaries.
Meanwhile, the Regional minister, Dr. Salih Hafiz urged Hon. Agyapong to be measured in his utterances and focus his campaign on what he intends to do.
The Assin Central lawmaker has formally indicated his intention to join the flagbeareship contest and has since been engaging party delegates across the country.
