The Wa Central Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Dr. Alhassan Rashid Pelpuo and His Constituency Executives have donated Eleven (11) mackintosh sealed mattresses to the Wa Municipal Fire Station in the Upper West Region for operational usage.
The kind gesture which was made to the Wa Municipal Fire Command was in response to an earlier request put forward by the Municipal Fire Commander to the office of the Wa Central MP.
Hon. Dr. Rashid Pelpuo commended the gallant operational men for their efforts to deliver on their mandate despite the numerous constraints that bedeviled them.
The items were graciously received by the Wa Municipal Fire Commander, ADO I Alex Suleman who on behalf of the Service expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the MP for his swift response and pledged to put them into good use. He thus seized the moment to ask for office accommodation, motor bikes and utility vehicles to assist its public fire safety education drive in the area.
