The University of Ghana at Legon -Accra has officially welcomed 17,473 undergraduate students.
This comprises 53% females and 47% males, and 4,523 graduate students, with 48% females and 52% males.
The matriculation ceremonies, which marked the return to in-person ceremonies since the COVID-19 pandemic, saw the inclusion of international students from 14 countries across Africa, Europe and the Americas, further enriching the University’s global community.
As part of the ceremony, the students took the Matriculation Oath, which was administered by the College Registrars and the Senior Assistant Registrar for the Accra City Campus, who presided over the sessions.
They also signed the Matricula, symbolising their official induction into the University.
