The inaugural meeting of the UK-Ghana Investor Group (UKGIG), an integral aspect of the inter-ministerial UK-Ghana Business Council, has taken place in the UK.
Modelled like the Africa Investor Group, UKGIG is made up of a network of private businesses and investors.
Their primary mission will be to support private sector engagement in priority projects identified by the UK Ghana Business Council.
The group’s co-chairs are our CEO, R.Yofi Grant, and Baroness Hoey, the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Ghana.
