Britain has placed an asset freeze and travel ban on the vice-president of Equatorial Guinea and four others it accuses of serious corruption.
Teodoro Obiang Mangue is accused of misappropriating state finances to fund a lavish lifestyle that saw him buy mansions, a private jet and Michael Jackson memorabilia.
His father has ruled Equatorial Guinea for more than 40 years.
Others sanctioned are Kudakwashe Regimond Tagwirei, a Zimbabwean businessman with close links to the government, a former Iraqi politician and two Venezuelans.
