Labor Expect, Mr Seth Abroso, has urged youths in the country to go all out and create their own businesses and stop looking for easy ways to make quick money.
According to him, the majority of the youths are misled by internet fraudsters due to the high rate of unemployment in the country.
Mr Abroso averred that the high rate of unemployment rate is a source of tricking people.
Mr Abroso stated that some youths are desperate as a result of inadequate job creation in the country, adding that some youths also fall for the pressure for quick money, therefore going into money rituals.
“The government should play the role of building an adequate technical school to help curtail the unemployment rate,” said Mr Abroso.
Mr Abroso explained that most of the youth don’t like hard-working, and they chase quick money that leads them to become victims of fraudsters.
According to Ghana statistical service official data, Ghana’s unemployment rate hit 13.4 per cent in 2021, up from 6 per cent in 2010. Data released by the Ghana statistical service shows that 32.8 percent of Ghanaians aged 15 to 24 are unemployed.
