The Paramount Chief of the Krachi Traditional Area, Nana Mprah Besemuna III has pleaded with the NPP ruling government to upgrade the Military Camp in the Kete-Krachi as soon as possible.
According to the Chief, improving the Military Camp will enable them to function or serve the country well.
Nana Mprah Besemuna III made this known when President Akufo-Addo visits the Oti region to cut sod for the construction of a 15 km Kete-Krachi town road, 10 km of which will be asphalted while 5 km would receive double layers of bituminous surfacing.
He then uttered an appreciation to the President and Kwesi Amoako Atta, the roads minister for cutting the sod for the construction of their roads.
Akufo-Addo on his part added that he will provide whatever will bring improvement and development to Oti Region and Kete-Krachi hence they should vote massively for the elephant instead of the umbrella clique.
He continued that the Oti Region was formed during his regime, and they are now an independent body and are capable of determining which government works best for them thus they should not allow the NDC to corrupt their mind for a vote but rather leave their shed.
President Akufo-Addo, however, entreated the people of Kete-Krachi and Oti Region generally to rally behind the slogan of ‘4 More 4 Nana’ to sustain him in government.
